Equipment

• This is the smallest excavator that Northern Beaches Earthmoving has.
• It is normally 1300mm wide, but has retractable rubber tracks to make it 960mm wide.
• It is used for tight access or small residential and commercial jobs.
• Attachments:  Auger – diameters, 300mm, 450mm, 600mm.   Hammer, diamond blade rock saw, ripper, buckets – 900mm and 600mm mud bucket, 450mm and 300mm digging buckets.

• This is the second largest excavator that Northern Beaches Earthmoving has.
•   It is 2000mm wide and is used for medium residential and commercial jobs.
• Attachments:  Auger (rock auger) – diameters, 300mm, 450mm, 600mm, 900mm.   Hammer, diamond blade rock saw, ripper, grabs, buckets – 1200mm mud bucket, 1200mm shaker bucket, 600mm, 450mm, 300mm digging buckets.

• This is the largest excavator that Northern Beaches Earthmoving has.
• It is 2350mm wide with rubber tracks and is used for larger residential and commercial jobs.
• Attachments:  Auger (rock auger) -diameters, 300mm, 450mm, 600mm, 900mm.   Hammer, diamond blade rock saw, ripper, grabs, buckets – 1500mm mud bucket, 1500mm shaker bucket, 1200mm, 600mm, 450mm, 300mm digging buckets.

12.5 Tonne Tip Truck is used to cart fill, sandstone, rubbish and green waste to the tip and also used to float machines to and from the site.

• can be used to cart excavated fill, rubbish sandstone, green waste and bricks and concrete.
• has a combined carrying capacity of 30 tonnes and a volume of 25m3.

• Can be used to load trucks and land levelling.
• The Skid Steer Loader is used instead of the excavator when material has to be moved a long way.
• Attachments:  16500mm bucket, pallet forks.

The Track Mounted Dumper is 1000mm wide. It is used in tight access jobs to transport material and can drive up ramps to load the truck. It has rubber tracks.

The Hammer can be used on the 2 Tonne, 6 Tonne, 8 Tonne excavators to break up concrete and rock.

The Diamond Blade Rock Saw can be used on the 2 Tonne, 6 Tonne and 8 Tonne Excavator.  It is used to cut rock to produce a smooth finish and to prevent vibration transfer.

• The Auger attaches to the 2 Tonne, 6 Tonne, 8 Tonne excavators.
• Sizes- 300mm, 450mm, 500mm, 600mm, 900mm.  It is used to drill pier holes for footings and vertical posts for fences and retaining walls.

Grabs are used on the 8 Tonne and 6 Tonne excavator for moving rocks and loading green waste and rubbish into the truck.

Pallet forks are attached to the Skid Steer Loader and are used to move pallets of bricks and blocks.
